Traci A. Gibson is Now a Living Legend; Former Judge DaSean Jones is Very Familar With Mike Doyle; Siegel Faces a Test

Attorney Traci A. Gibson's historic defeat of Harris County Democratic Party Chairman Mike Doyle on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, should be one of the most talked-about stories in local media. After Traci A. Gibson, a "BLACK WOMAN," received 207,375 votes, for 66.82% of the vote, and Mike Doyle, a "WHITE MAN," only received 102,968 votes, for 33.18%. How is this not a big story? Why isn't Attorney Traci A. Gibson's historic achievement one of the top trending stories? Well, that's a complicated topic that former Judge DaSean Jones and I, Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, will discuss on the "LIVE BROADCAST" of Ground Game Magazine© on KCOH 1230, "The Source," on Thursday, March 19, 2026, with Hall of Fame Broadcaster Ralph Cooper. As for Cindy Siegel, the chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, she's been forced into a runoff.

"CHAIRMAN DOYLE."

Mike Doyle, the chairman of the defeated Harris County Democratic Party, never treated "BLACK FEMALES" right during his short stint as the head of the HCDP. It almost seems as if Doyle has been deliberately sabotaging the campaigns of African American female judges since day one. Now, after Doyle was "SOLIDLY DEFEATED" by Attorney Traci A. Gibson, he and several of his cohorts appear to have conjured up a plan to siphon donations away from the Harris County Democratic Party and redirect donations to a newly-created General-Perouse Committee called, "The KICK Enterprise Club PAC," where Edward Allen is serving as the treasurer.

"CHAIRMAN SIEGEL."

Cindy Siegel, the chairman of the Harris County Republican Party, has been forced into a Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Primary Runoff Election by Don Hooper, a "RIGHT-WING BLOGGER." That said, Cindy Siegel nearly won re-election without a runoff by receiving 84,787 votes for 49.68% of the vote, against Don Hooper, who received 56,366 votes for 33.02%, and Michelle Bouchard, who received 29,528 votes for 17.30%. While Siegel expected to win her runoff showdown against Hooper, nothing can be taken for granted, as anything can happen.

"THURSDAY'S BROADCAST."

On Thursday, May 19, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., I, Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor, will give my Ground Game Magazine© on KCOH 1230, listeners important information regarding Mike Doyle, Sean Doyle, and Mary Doyle's recent activities, and their involvement with a new Political Action Committee called, "THE KICK ENTERPISE CLUB PAC," which has allegedly been created to undermine Traci A. Gibson's ability and efforts to raise much needed funds for her "COORDINATED CAMPAIGN," to help Democratic judges, and other nominees win, after she takes over the helm of the Harris County Democratic Party, in a few months.

- ELECTION RESULTS -

Don Hooper received 56,366 votes, for 33.02%, to finish second and make the runoff. However, Cindy Siegel, the current Harris County Republican Party Chairman, received nearly twice as many votes as her two Republican Party Primary challengers. That said, "EARLY VOTING" will begin on Monday, May 18, 2026, and end on Friday, May 22, 2026, in Texas.

- UPCOMING EVENT -

The Harris County Democratic Party is kicking off its convention with a social event on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 5:30 P.M. through 7:30 P.M., at the Houston Community Land Trust Headquarters, which is located at 2535 North Mac Gregory Way, in Houston, Texas.

Former Judge DaSean Jones sent the letter published below to Mike Doyle back on Thursday, December 12, 2024, which will be discussed in further detail Thursday, March 19, 2026, when he appears as a "SPECIAL COMMENTATOR," on Ground Game Magazine on KCOH 1230, "The Source," along beside Hall of Fame Broadcaster Ralph Cooper, and I, Investigative Reporter, Aubrey R. Taylor, during the final segment.

Subject: Special Election - May 3, 2025

Mike:

I am writing to formally request that my name, image, and likeness not be used for fundraising purposes by the Harris County Democratic Party. This decision reflects my concerns regarding the lack of tangible support provided to my campaign, particularly in addressing the financial burdens resulting from the election lawsuit.

If you recall, the meeting with Hon. Audrie Lawton, who was dismissive and disrespectful regarding my absence due to mandated federal military duty, resulted in no meaningful progress. Efforts to strategize for increased donations to my campaign yielded only $250, which was identified to be submitted by my longtime friend. Please take notice, I have unique experience as an Army Brigade planner, planning combat missions in Iraq with multiple assets and multi-million dollar budgets. For this reason, it is incredibly difficult to have faith in any proposed plan that doesn't have clear: (1) objectives, (2) structure, (3) messaging, (4) communication, (5) allocation of assets/money.

Despite prior indications that the party would assist in garnering donations to offset these significant costs—costs that disproportionately affected African American judges, including myself—the proposed financial support was minimal. These lawsuits, which arose from administrative mishaps tied to party members through the election administrator, carried significant implications for all Democrats. However, meaningful financial or strategic assistance from both the Harris County Democratic Party and the Texas Democratic Party has been absent.

This matter which is pivotal to this region's future of democracy began on or about 2022. Yet, two (2) years later, there is a lack of actionable support that further underscores the party’s inaction in combating the Republican media narrative (created years prior) during the immediate past elections. Since 2022, suggestions for a coordinated counter-narrative have been ignored, leaving individual candidates to fight an entire political party. More recently, this oversight resulted in the defeat of several well-qualified, incumbent judges, many of whom were targeted due to their ethnic names, an issue well-known since November 2022.

Noticeably, contributions by individuals such as Jeralynn Manor and Fredricka Phillips, who donated significantly to the party, did not result in equitable support or special treatment. This stands in stark contrast to other favored candidates who contributed far less financially, yet appeared to receive more robust assistance and exposure.

As someone who was fortunate to return from two tours in Iraq, this situation reminds me of mission briefings before conducting combat missions, where no matter the mission a stark statement was made, “no one is coming to save you.” In those moments, I had the confidence that my brothers in arms would step up if needed. Unfortunately, in this scenario, I accept the truth as it has been demonstrated, I will be on my own.

While I am requesting that my name, image, and likeness not be used for fundraising at this time, this decision may be revisited. I am open to sitting down and agreeing to specific terms and transparent reporting regarding how the funds will be allocated. Specifically, I request that all proceeds (notated as “HCDP”) or no less than one-third of the funds raised be directly allocated to my campaign. Contributions can be made by texting “DaSean” to 801801.

Without these assurances, I cannot support or condone the use of my name, image, and likeness for any proposed fundraising efforts because there is no Party plan. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss this matter further and reach a mutually beneficial resolution.

Very respectfully,

DASEAN JONES
Former Judge, 180th District Court

Newly Elected Black Democratic Party Chairman, Traci A. Gibson, is Facing Headwinds; Trump is Facing a Deadline

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

A longtime, highly involved and engaged Democrat has reached out to Aubrey R. Taylor Communications to inform us that a new Democratic group called “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB,” was formed shortly after Attorney Traci A. Gibson, an African American female, signed up to run against Mike Doyle, last December.

“They are trying to make it hard for Traci to raise money,” stated the longtime Democrat, whom I will not name for safety reasons.

The longtime Democrat stated, “Hey, Mike Doyle has gone and created an Organization that would take money from Traci when she takes office.”

“The name of the Organization is KICK!!! And I will get you the paperwork on KICK,” stated the longtime Democrat, who agreed to forward me the information.

According to the information that I have reviewed, “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB” held its first meeting back on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:00 A.M. through 2:00 P.M., via a video call link, where potential members were also given a number to call, along with a PIN.

The number of potential members received is (267)415-1659, and the PIN was 505710158#, according to the documents I have reviewed.

It is unclear at this point if “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB” has already started to work against the efforts of Democratic Chairman Elect, Traci A. Gibson, but Mike Doyle, the recently defeated Democratic Party Chairman, is a “KEY PLAYER,” along with other influential Democrats like Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones, and Houston City Councilman Ed Pollard.

It appears that John Humphries, the financial secretary for the Houston Black American Democrats (H-BAD), is also involved with “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB,” which is allegedly, according to a longtime Democrat, familiar with this group, planning to undermine the efforts of Traci A. Gibson by making it difficult for her to raise money.

A few of the “FOUNDING MEMBERS” of this new Organization are listed below for African American stakeholders and other pastoral, civic, and community leaders to review.

On September 30, 2025, according to information from the Texas Ethics Commission, “THE KICK ENTERPRISED CLUB PAC” sent a letter to Mr. Edward Allen, informing him that he had been duly appointed as the campaign treasurer for the General-Purpose Committee.

“TROUBLE AHEAD.”

Democrats already have a serious “RACE RELATIONS PROBLEM” forming at the statewide level, with what unfolded in their recently held race for the United States Senate between State Rep. James Talarico and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett.

Now, a more pressing issue is unfolding in Harris County, Texas, where Traci Gibson, a duly elected African American female, is facing serious headwinds and upheaval after unseating Mike Doyle, the white male, by a two-to-one margin of victory back on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary.

As a refresher, Traci A. Gibson received 207,963 votes, for 66.80% of the vote, and Mike Doyle received 103,350 votes, for 33.20%. Yes, you heard me right!

In her history-making victory, Traci A Gibson defeated Mike Doyle, the sitting Harris County Democratic Party Chairman, by an astonishing 104,613 votes. As things continue to unfold, we will continue to monitor this situation.

“ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE.”

In a recent FACEBOOK POST, State Rep. Jolanda Jones stated, “And THIS is why I keep telling y’all the Democrats in Harris County are going to have problems in November.”

“Just my thoughts on the latest BS involving Mike Doyle, the current Harris County Democratic Party Chair,” she continued.

State Rep. Jones explains, “Especially in light of the recent Senate race here in Harris County and the ongoing question about whether Black voters will come back out to vote, this kind of nonsense is the last thing the Democratic Party needs right now.”

“Democrats have a real opportunity to take over this state, but we keep wasting it with distractions and internal drama instead of building a strong, unified coalition,” she said.

State Rep. Jones went further, “And let’s be honest — Black women are crucial to the success of the Democratic Party. Yet sometimes it feels like for some people, protecting systems rooted in white supremacy matters more than having an open tent or welcoming Black women into the fold.”

“If Democrats want to win in Texas, we have to respect the people who consistently show up and carry the party,” said State Rep. Jones. “And THIS is why I keep telling y’all the Democrats in Harris County are going to have problems in November.”

“THE REPUBLICANS.”

On the Republican side of the aisle, there are several key downballot, “RUNOFF RACES” scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026, where the outcomes could depend on a large voter turnout driven by a competitive United States Senate race between Cornyn and Paxton.

The upcoming Tuesday, May 26, 2026, runoff elections in Texas will be closely watched and monitored. What’s he going to do? President Donald J. Trump recently announced his plan to make an endorsement in the United States Senate race between U.S. Senator and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, but he hasn’t endorsed either as of this morning.

Trump declared his intention to endorse, with the caveat that the non-endorsed candidate drop out of the “RUNOFF RACE” for the United States Senate, scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

For the record, the deadline for Trump’s plan to influence the outcome of the “RUNOFF RACE,” for the United States Senate, is at 5:00 P.M., today. And if Trump does not make an endorsement, his plan is shot.

Listen. The Texas Republican Party has already finalized its primary results from the recent Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Republican Party Primary. That said, if neither candidate (Cornyn or Paxton) drops out by 5:00 P.M. today and files to have their name removed from the ballot with the Texas Secretary of State, their name will appear on the ballot no matter what.

“REPUBLICAN RUNOFFS.”

“CLOSING THOUGHTS.”

The fact that Commissioner Leslie Briones, Councilman Ed Pollard, and John Humphries have aligned themselves with “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB” is deeply concerning. Remember, from the time that Christian Menefee was elected as the Harris County Attorney, in line with his "BETA MALE" tendencies, he took on a subservient role as a puppet for Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis.

There's Going to Be A Resurgence of Black Media in the 2026 Midterm Elections

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

What Black folks need to realize is that I am not a billionaire or millionaire, or mainstream media owner. I am a local small business owner who is committed to protecting the First Amendment Rights, to Freedom of Speech, and Freedom of the Press, afforded to every warm-blooded American citizen.

Listen. The richest men in America own the media outlets that are feeding the information that enters our homes. Just think about it. The richest man on planet earth owns X, formerly known as Twitter.

Do you remember Black Entertainment Television (BET) and what it once stood for? Well, Tyler Perry Studio's stake in BET+ was just purchased a few days ago by Paramount+ in a consolidation of power in the media.

BET+ will be absorbed beginning in June, according to published reports, which didn't disclose the financial terms associated with the deal. What does this mean? Well, in short, "BLACK FOLKS" basically have no place to turn for unfiltered information regarding politics and other matters related to issues near and dear to our hearts.

Former Judge DaSean Jones, one of the "TITLE SPONSORS" of our Ground Game Magazine Radio Broadcast on KCOH 1230, believes that the outlook for Democrats is great during the 2026 Midterm Election in Harris County, Texas.

Judge Germaine "Janet" Tanner, the presiding judge for the 311th Family District Court, holds a political science degree from the prestigious University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana and her Law Degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Judge Germaine Tanner, Her Sisters are Living Legends, Who Changed the Game of Politics

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

If you take a moment to visit her website, you will discover that, over twenty years ago, Germaine J. Tanner began visiting inmates at jails in Harris County, Texas. The visits were on behalf of the Fatherhood Project through the Office of the Attorney General. She learned two things: Inmates who were fathers needed better legal advice so they could maintain relationships with their children, and she discovered she had a passion for helping families understand and navigate the legal system.

That experience, while still a law student, set the course for Tanner’s successful career in family law.

Tanner established her law office with a concentration in family law in 2003. She handled a wide range of family law issues, including divorce with emphasis on complex property issues, child custody, child support, post-divorce modifications and enforcements, family law-related appeals, and mediations.

Tanner allowed for her experience and compassion for others to speak for itself, and ultimately, Tanner was elected as the Presiding Judge of the 311th District Court on November 6, 2018, and was sworn in on January 1, 2019. Since her election, Judge Tanner has provided FREE Brown Bag CLE seminars for practicing attorneys out of the 311th District Court. Additionally, Judge Tanner has given numerous presentations at continuing legal education seminars for attorneys and paralegals in the area of Family Law, through various organizations.

Judge Tanner's commitment to her work in the court and the community has been widely recognized. She was honored to receive the 2024 Living Legend Award from the Blue Triangle Multi-Cultural Association for her contributions both professionally and in her community. As a result, she received certificates of recognition from seven Houston City Council members, four Texas State Representatives, and one Texas Senator. Serving as the judge of the 311th District Court has been a profound honor for Judge Tanner, and she looks forward to achieving even greater success in the future.

Judge Tanner is a single mother of 1 daughter, Gabrielle. Judge Tanner received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana and her law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Judge Tanner is a member of several legal and community service organizations. When not working, Judge Tanner enjoys spending time with her daughter, cooking, gardening, and giving back to her community.

Your support for Judge Tanner is appreciated, as she seeks reelection to the 311th District Court.
