Many Local Democratic Judges Are Doing a Great Job; TV Commentator April Aguirre Got Her Facts Wrong

Judge Germaine "Janet" Tanner (far left) and Judge Damiane "Dianne" Curvey (second row, far left) are "TWO GREAT JUDGES" who happen to be Democrats. Judge Angela Graves Harrington (bottom second from left), Judge Sandra Peake (bottom second from right), Judge Linda Marie Dunson (far right), Judge Lillian Alexander (far back standing right), and Judge Angela Lancelin (back second row, second from right) have all done stellar jobs since taking the bench, and should be commended for their service to the people of Harris County, Texas.

- WATCH VIDEO -

In this video segment, aired on FOX 26's "What's Your Point Overtime," Crime Victims Advocate April Aguirre falsely claimed that the judge for the 315th Family Juvenile Court failed the community by not revoking the probation of a violent juvenile offender. According to our research, Judge Michelle Moore, the presiding judge for the 314th Family District Court, did everything by the book with the Darius DeWayne Hall case. As for Judge Leah Shapiro, the presiding judge for the 315th Family District Court, she had nothing to do with the Darius DeWayne Hall case when he was a juvenile.

"JUDGE MIXUP."

TV Commentator April Aguirre is a highly respected advocate for "CRIME VICTIMS," whom I have the utmost respect and admiration for. However, her comments about the 315th Family Juvenile Court, and the judge setting a "VIOLENT CRIMINAL" free, appear to be off base and inaccurate. Listen. Judge Michelle Moore did everything by the book when she handled the case involving Darius DeWayne Hall in her 314th Family Juvenile District Court. According to April Aguirre's comments on FOX 26's "What's Your Point Overtime," Darrius DeWayne Hall had two violent offenses, committed an armed robbery, and did not have his probation revoked. The judge who handled the initial juvenile case was Judge Michelle Moore, the presiding judge for the 314th Family Juvenile District Court. And the judge for the 315th Family Juvenile District Court is Judge Leah Shapiro, who did not handle the Darius DeWayne Hall case.

- FRONTRUNNER -

Judge Germaine "Janet" Tanner, the presiding judge for the 311th Family District Court, is our "ENDORSED CANDIDATE" on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the General Midterm Election, in Harris County, Texas. All of our Independent and Democratic Houston Business Connection Newspaper© readers, and Ground Game Magazine on KCOH 1230 listeners, are encouraged to support Judge Tanner. After all, Judge Germaine Tanner is the clear "FRONTRUNNER" who ran unopposed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary.  Still, Judge Tanner received 292,744 votes, for 100% of the vote, while her Republican opponent, named Joe Radler, was also running unopposed, but only received 147,810 votes, for 100%, in the Republican Party Primary.

"FAMILY COURTS."

In the fight for local courts, in Harris County, Texas, "FAMILY COURT JUDGES" have been wrongly labelled soft on crime in a barrage of "POLITICAL ATTACK ADS" aimed at removing good Democratic judges like Judge Germaine "Janet" Tanner, Judge Damiane "Diane" Curvey, and many others from local benches. That said, while these attack ads are aimed at "ALL DEMOCRATIC JUDGES," African American judges have been impacted the most.

- FRONTRUNNER -

Judge Damiane "Dianne" Curvey, the presiding judge for the 280th Family District Court, is our "ENDORSED CANDIDATE" on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the General Midterm Election, in Harris County, Texas. All of our Independent and Democratic Houston Business Connection Newspaper© readers, and Ground Game Magazine on KCOH 1230 listeners, are encouraged to support Judge Curvey. After all, Judge Dianne Curvey is the clear "FRONTRUNNER" who ran unopposed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary.  Still, Judge Curvey received 293,267 votes, for 100% of the vote, while her Republican opponent, named Rose Cardenas, was also running unopposed, but only received 147,915 votes, for 100%, in the Republican Party Primary.

"STALKING JUDGES."

The fight for local judicial court benches in Harris County, Texas, has become fierce and highly competitive over the last six months. Judges like Judge Damiane "Dianne" Cuvery, the presiding judge for the 280th Family Protective Order Court, and Judge Lillian Alexander, the presiding judge for the 507th Family District Court, have been stalked and harassed by paid agitators. At this time, my investigative team and I are using the campaign finance reports and ther information to try to identify the people who are paying the stalkers to harass our local judges.

- SOCIAL MEDIA -

Judge Leah Shapiro, the judge for the 315th Family Juvenile District Court, did not have anything to do with the Darius DeWayne Hall case when he was a juvenile. However, Judge Leah Shapiro, a "WHITE FEMALE," was challenged by a "LATINA FEMALE," named Gloria Sanchez Glover, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary. As a refresher, Judge Shapiro received 162,362 votes, for 51.35% of the vote, to defeat Gloria Sanchez Glover, who received 153,850 votes, for 48.65%.

Democratic Family Court Judges Are Doing a Great Job; TV Commentator April Aguirre Got Her Facts Wrong Last Sunday

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

Our local judges have started to get stalked, harassed, and bullied on social media by paid agitators, who could be concealing their funding sources. That said, I would caution local TV Commentators like April Aguirre, who is also a very strong crime victims advocate, to get their facts straight and do their due diligence before making comments about local judges.

Listen. Judge Michelle Moore did everything by the book when she handled the case involving Darius DeWayne Hall, in her 314th Family Juvenile District Court, not the 315th Family Juvenile District Court, which is actually presided over by Judge Leah Shapiro.

"NEW STRATEGY."

It appears that the strategy to remove "BLACK JUDGES" from local judicial benches has pivoted from using their "ETHNIC SOUNDING" name to identify them at the ballot box, to hampering the newly elected Harris County Democratic Party Chairman's ability to raise money to help them.

In reality, "BLACK DEMOCRATIC JUDGES" face different challenges than other local Democratic judges when their names appear on the ballot. If you remember, back during the last "MIDTERM ELECTION," the only down-ballot Democratic candidates running countywide, who lost, were African Americans.

Mike Doyle got defeated fair and square, and now he and his cohorts appear to have launched a scheme to make it difficult for Traci A. Gibson to raise money when she takes over the reins of the Harris County Democratic Party in a few weeks.

"FOUNDING MEMBERS."

According to the information that I have reviewed, “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB” held its first meeting back on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:00 A.M. through 2:00 P.M., via a video call link, where potential members were also given a number to call, along with a PIN.

The number of potential members received is (267)415-1659, and the PIN was 505710158#, according to the documents I have reviewed.

It is unclear at this point if “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB” has already started to work against the efforts of Democratic Chairman Elect, Traci A. Gibson, but Mike Doyle, the recently defeated Democratic Party Chairman, is a “KEY PLAYER,” along with other influential Democrats like Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones, and Houston City Councilman Ed Pollard.

It appears that John Humphries, the financial secretary for the Houston Black American Democrats (H-BAD), is also involved with “THE KICK ENTERPRISE CLUB,” which is allegedly, according to a longtime Democrat, familiar with this group, planning to undermine the efforts of Traci A. Gibson by making it difficult for her to raise money.

A few of the “FOUNDING MEMBERS” of this new Organization are listed below for African American stakeholders and other pastoral, civic, and community leaders to review.

Caroline Vetterling

On September 30, 2025, according to information from the Texas Ethics Commission, “THE KICK ENTERPRISED CLUB PAC” sent a letter to Mr. Edward Allen, informing him that he had been duly appointed as the campaign treasurer for the General-Purpose Committee.

“TROUBLE AHEAD.”

Democrats already have a serious “RACE RELATIONS PROBLEM” forming at the statewide level, with what unfolded in their recently held race for the United States Senate between State Rep. James Talarico and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett.

Now, a more pressing issue is unfolding in Harris County, Texas, where Traci Gibson, a duly elected African American female, is facing serious headwinds and upheaval after unseating Mike Doyle, the white male, by a two-to-one margin of victory back on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary.

As a refresher, Traci A. Gibson received 207,963 votes, for 66.80% of the vote, and Mike Doyle received 103,350 votes, for 33.20%. Yes, you heard me right!

In her history-making victory, Traci A Gibson defeated Mike Doyle, the sitting Harris County Democratic Party Chairman, by an astonishing 104,613 votes. As things continue to unfold, we will continue to monitor this situation.

- NEW STRATEGY -

It is clear that Mike Doyle, the defeated chairman of the Harris County Democratic Party, is very upset about his recent loss to Traci A. Gibson in the Democratic Party Primary. As a result, it appears that Mike Doyle and a small group of people are the founding members of a Political Action Committee that is planning to make it difficult for Traci A. Gibson to raise money when she officially takes over the reins of the Harris County Democratic Party.
