Open Letter from State Representative Senfronia Thompson (HD-141) Thanking All Those Who Helped to Make the 2015 "Progress Houston" Mayoral Runoff Forum A Huge Success

DEAR HOUSTONIANS:

To curtail traditional low voter turnout, I partnered to host Houston's first Mayoral Runoff Forum this year, entitled "Progress Houston".

Nearly 500 people packed the auditorium and those who couldn't attend watched online via Fox 26 Houston's live stream.

I would like to thank all of the partners, panelists and attendees who made this voter empowerment initiative a success.

This forum focused on the issues and everyone walked away with a clear understanding of each mayoral candidate's plan to "Progress Houston".

Now that you are informed, please go to the polls, take someone with you and vote.

If you need more information about runoff candidates, where to vote or transportation to the polls, please reference the information below.

Yours for a better Texas,
Rep. Senfronia Thompson, District 141
