Tune in to KCOH Radio, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, to Get the Absentee Mail Ballot Totals for the CD-18 Runoff

Investigative Reporter Aubrey R. Taylor is closely monitoring the inflow of "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS" for the upcoming Saturday, January 31, 2026, "CD-18 RUNOFF" election between Christian Menefee and Amanda Edwards. It is unclear at this time if Christian Menefee has linked up with Gerald Womack in an attempt to gain an unfair advantage over Amanda Edwards in the "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT" category, but our investigative team is closely monitoring Evelyn Dupree, Thyra Burks, and other alleged ballot harvesters who have ties to Gerald Womack and his alleged "CRIMINAL REGIME." Below, you will find the list of all 1,578 voters who have already cast absentee mail ballots.

"MAIL BALLOT WATCH."

For three decades, Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development & Investment Realtors, located at 4412 Almeda Road, Houston, Texas 77004, has used his business as an alleged front to harvest mail ballots and unfairly influence the results of local political races. At this time, former County Attorney Christian Menefee is relying on Gerald Womack, Evelyn Dupree, and Thyra Burks, the wife of former Councilman Andrew C. Burks, to gain an unfair advantage over Amanda Edwards.

"MAIL BALLOT ROSTER."

Below you will find the names of every "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT" vote that has been recorded so far for the Saturday, January 31, 2026, "CD-18 RUNOFF" election between Christian Menefee and Amanda Edwards. The Aubrey R. Taylor Communications, Investigative Team, is currently reviewing each name and contacting these voters to confirm they voted by "MAIL BALLOT" and to ensure that Gerald Womack, Evelyn Dupree, and Thyra Burks are not up to their old tricks.

It is not clear at this point if Gerald Womack is running his alleged "ILLEGAL BALLOT HARVESTING OPERATION" at this time. However, back during the Tuesday, November 4, 2025, race for the 18th Congressional District, Amanda Edwards received more "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOTS" than Christian Menefee, who is a member of Gerald Womack's team.

Amanda Edwards should beat Christian Menefee in the "ABSENTEE MAIL BALLOT CATEGORY," just like she did last time. If Jolanda Jones's supporters cast their "MAIL BALLOTS" for Amanda Edwards, as she's requesting them to do, this time around, Amanda should receive more mail ballots than Christian Menefee in the runoff.

Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson gave the U.S. Department of Justice the names and voter information of all 18 million registered Texas voters. The batch of data provided to President Trump includes the names and voter information of every registered voter in Harris County, Texas. With this in mind, Aubrey R. Taylor Communications has reviewed the Harris County, Texas voter rolls and discovered that it is still littered with "DEAD BLACK VOTERS," who died years ago.

"TRUMP IS COMING."

On Friday, January 9, 2026, Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson gave the Trump Administration the "VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION" for every registered voter in the State of Texas. For the record, there are over 18 million registered voters on the Texas voter rolls.

Secretary of State Jane Nelson turned over the names of every registered voter in Texas to the U.S. Justice Department to comply with the Trump administration's repeated demands to access voter registration data nationwide.

Inside the data handed over to the Trump Administration on Friday, January 9, 2026, illegally registered voters tied to Gerald Womack's camp were sent to the United States Justice Department as well. On Thursday, January 15, 2026, live over the KCOH AIRWAVES, I will release the name of a "DEAD VOTER," who is registered to vote in Harris County, Texas, who died several years ago.

Amanda Edwards will need the help of Jolanda Jones to energize and mobilize voters in PRECINCT 0001 through PRECINCT 0059 in Harris County, Texas.

Amanda Edwards will need the help of Jolanda Jones to energize and mobilize voters in PRECINCT 1050 through PRECINCT 1105 in Harris County, Texas.

State Rep. Jolanda Jones beat former Councilwoman Amanda Edwards in sixty-nine (69) precincts that fall within the boundaries of the 18th Congressional District of Texas. That said, Amanda Edwards should make State Rep. Jolanda Jones her "CHIEF SURRAGATE," and then let Jolanda Jones use her uncanny ability to drive "BLACK VOTERS" back to the polls on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

- TRUTH TELLER -

Attorney Melanie Miles has fully exposed Judge Sharon Burney, the presiding Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 2, as someone who does not have the best interests of her constituents in mind. Melanie's claim that Judge Burney does not show up to work on Mondays has been investigated by Attorney Nyanza Moore and the Aubrey R. Taylor Communications Investigative Team.

- THE BEST CHOICE -

Attorney Melanie Miles is the best person to fill the void left after the death of the Honorable Zinetta Burney, whom we all loved and admired. In reality, Judge Sharon Burney seems to be a good person, but she does not possess the work ethic and heart for the people of "PRECINCT SEVEN" that her late mother had for her constituents.

- BURNEY MUST GO -

Attorney Nyanza Moore did a solid job of reporting the facts and exposing Judge Sharon Burney for failing to come to work on Mondays. If you look at the "SCREENSHOTS BELOW," you will get a better understanding of why Attorney Melanie Miles and Attorney Nyanza Moore can see with complete confidence that Judge Sharon Burney is a judge who must be replaced.

Congressman Al Green and Attorney Nyanza Moore are to power players. Early voting for the Saturday, January 31, 2026, "CD-18 RUNOFF," between Christan DaShaun Menefee and Amanda Edwards, will begin on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, and end on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and will be run under the "OLD CD-18 MAP." However, a few weeks later, on "SUPER TUESDAY," when Congressman Al Green faces off against Amanda, Christian, and Gretchen Brown in the Democratic Party Primary, their race will be run under the newly drawn 2026 Republican (TRUMP) redistricted maps. Early voting for the Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Democratic Party Primary will run from Tuesday, February 17, 2026, to Friday, February 27, 2026, in Texas.

Christian Menefee and Judge Sharon Burney Have Strong Ties to Gerald Womack

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

From the way things appear, Christian Menefee and Judge Sharon Burney both appear to be part of Gerald Womack's political regime. However, it is unclear if Gerald Womack plans to run his elaborate "BALLOT HARVESTING OPERATION" during this turbulent political climate. Even still, Christian Menefee must be rejected by Harris County Democratic Party Primary voters on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in the "CD-18 RUNOFF ELECTION," and Christian must be rejected again on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary.

As for Judge Sharon Burney, her ties to Gerald Womack, the owner of Womack Development and Investment Realtors, have proven golden over the years, but she must be fired on "SUPER TUESDAY," and replaced with Attorney Melanie Miles, who promises to show up for work, and do right by "PRECINCT SEVEN" constituents, if she's elected on Tuesday, March 3, 2026/

“BURNEY MUST GO.”

There’s a beef brewing between Judge Sharon Burney’s Campaign and the Campaign Team for Attorney Melanie Miles over whether Judge Burney shows up to work.

Why does this matter?

The Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 1, is Judge Wanda Adam, a Democrat, who has performed excellently since she assumed the bench from Judge Jeremy Brown in the 2024 Democratic Party Primary.

As for Judge Sharon Burney, who inherited the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 7, Place 2, bench, based on the love and admiration “PRECINCT SEVEN” constituents had for her mother, the Honorable Zinetta Burney, the daughter’s judgeship, by most accounts, has turned out to be a failed experiment. Thus, Judge Sharon Burney has proven that she’s nothing like her honorable mother (Judge Zinetta Burney) and now finds herself in the midst of a contested primary against two Democratic challengers.

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary race for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 7, Place 2, Judge Sharon Burney is being challenged by Attorney Melanie Miles and another Democrat named Markia Bordeaux, in a winner-take-all showdown.

Since no Republican is pursuing the Justice of the Peace for Precinct 7, Place 2, bench, whoever wins the Democratic Party Primary on “SUPER TUESDAY,” wins the bench.

If neither candidate wins a majority of the vote, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the “PRECINCT 7, PLACE 2,” race will go to a runoff scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to decide the winner of the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 7, Place 2, race.

“UNCOVERING THE TRUTH.”

What we have unfolding in the race for the Justice of the Peace, Precinct 7, Place 2, is a situation where Judge Burney’s camp is saying one thing, and Attorney Melanie Miles is saying another. And aside from the usual political drama, you now have Preston Middleton, someone whom I respect, calling my client, Melanie Miles, a liar – which doesn’t sit well with me.

A few days ago, Preston Middleton came out in support of Judge Sharon Burney’s campaign and posted an “AI VIDEO,” claiming that Attorney Nyanza Moore was being untruthful and attacking Judge Sharon Burney.

Middleton even went so far as to post an “OFFICIAL STATEMENT,” from Judge Sharon Burney, in an attempt to refute the allegations made by Attorney Nyanza Moore, in “PART ONE,” of a “TWO PART,” investigative video series to prove that Judge Sharon Burney does not show up for work to perform her duties on Mondays.

So, who’s telling the truth?

Based on the “DOCKET SHEETS” my investigative team and I have obtained, it appears that Attorney Nyanza Moore and Attorney Melanie Miles’s assertion that Judge Sharon Burney does not show up for work on Monday is accurate.

If you take a moment to review the “DOCKET SHEETS” for the past 6 months for the Justice of the Peace Precinct 7, Place 2, Court, you will see that Judge Sharon Burney does not show up for work on Mondays.

Yes, Judge Burney does have to preside over the “MENTAL HEALTH DOCKET” on a rotating schedule, with several other JP Courts. However, Judge Burney only performs this duty once a quarter, with her cases starting at 12:00 p.m., as far as I understand.

So, on Monday, January 5, 2026, Judge Burney was indeed scheduled to work the “MENTAL HEALTH DOCUMENT,” and only had four (4) cases to preside over, and only took about an hour to resolve all four cases.

“A MAJOR PROBLEM.”

Based on the court documents, related to evictions in “PRECINCT SEVEN,” which is a predominantly Black Democratic voting stronghold, there’s a distinct difference in the way Precinct 7, Place 1, presided over by Judge Wanda Adams, gets handled, compared to the way Judge Sharon Burney is handling evictions in her Precinct 7, Place 2, courtroom.

Why are so many landlords running to Judge Burney’s courtroom to file their evictions, when Judge Wanda Adams’s courtroom is only a few blocks away?

For the record, Judge Sharon Burney filed 2006 more eviction cases in her Precinct 7, Place 2, courtroom than Judge Wanda Adams filed in her Precinct 7, Place 1, courtroom between Wednesday, January 1, 2025, and Sunday, November 16, 2025, based on the court records we reviewed for this report.

“FINAL THOUGHTS.”

Based on our review of the evidence provided by Attorney Nyanza Moore, it appears that Judge Sharon Burney does not provide assistance to her constituents by working a full schedule. Thus, a reasonable person could conclude that Judge Burney is not serving her “PRECINCT 7” constituents to the best of her ability, and should be voted out of office on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in the Democratic Party Primary race for Justice of the Peace Precinct 7, Place 2, in Harris County, Texas.

Shake-Up in 2026 Democratic Party Primary Now Has Judge Beau Miller and Judge Donna Roth Running Uncontested

AUBREY R. TAYLOR REPORTS©

As a refresher, Allison Jackson-Mathis will be removed from the 180th Criminal District Court race, leaving Stephanie Morales running uncontested and set to face off against Judge Tami Pierce, the Republican, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the General Midterm Election. Velda Faulkner is withdrawing from the 190th Civil District Court race, leaving Judge Beau Miller running uncontested and set to face Aaron Adams, the Republican, in November. Angela Reese McKinnon is withdrawing, leaving Judge Donna Roth running unopposed in the race for the 295th Civil District Court, on "SUPER TUESDAY," but facing Greg Travis, the Republican, in November. And in the race for County Criminal Court at Law No. 3, Anna Eady will be removed from the ballot, leaving Carlos Alberto Aguayo running unopposed in the Democratic Party Primary, but set to face off against Judge Leslie R. Johnson, a Republican, on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, in the General Midterm Election.

"KEY MATCHUPS"

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Judge Christine Weems, Judge Donna Roth, Judge Lauren Reeder, and Judge Beau Miller could suffer the same fate as Judge Engelhart if they don't take their primary challengers seriously. As for former Judge Robert Johnson, former Judge Darrell Jordan, and retired Judge Ramona Franklin, they're all making a comeback on "SUPER TUESDAY," in Harris County, Texas. Early voting will begin on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and end on Friday, February 27, 2026. But if you can't vote early, "ELECTION DAY": voting will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, which is Super Tuesday in America.

Daniella Landers is a "TRAILBLAZER," who will be featured inside the special "BLACK HISTORY MONTH" edition of Houston Business Connections Newspaper.

Daniella Landers Sworn In As 2025-2026 President of the Houston Bar Association

Landers becomes the first African American woman to serve as HBA President in the organization’s 155-year history

(HOUSTON – May 16, 2025) – Houston attorney Daniella Landers took office as the 2025-2026 President of the Houston Bar Association at the HBA’s Annual Dinner on May 15. Landers succeeds David Harrell, partner at Troutman Pepper Locke LLP.

In her Annual Dinner address to HBA members, President Landers laid out her presidential initiatives focused on three core components: People, Service, and Collaboration. These incorporate several projects President Landers planned for her Bar Year, which include: Increasing membership through various programs to include a new section for solo practitioners and small law firms, as well as incentives for local and affinity bar members.

Inviting HBA members to participate in two dedicated Service Days during the upcoming fall and spring, focused on giving back through events organized in collaboration with HBA committees and local partner organizations.

Providing opportunities to network and collaborate with allies and partners in the legal, business, and political communities.

Serving as an educational platform to ensure members are well-informed of the issues and key developments impacting their practice, and hosting activities to promote the rule of law.

“I want to ensure the HBA continues to engage with our members, the legal profession, the greater Houston community, and our non-legal allies and partners in meaningful ways,” said President Landers. “I created these goals with the HBA’s primary mission in mind: To serve the needs of Houston-area lawyers and enhance the legal profession. I look forward to serving as HBA President and working with the HBA Board of Directors, as well as our staff, members, and partners.”

President Landers has served on the HBA Board of Directors as first vice president, secretary, and for two terms as director. She has also served as vice chair of the Houston Bar Foundation, chair of the Dispute Resolution Center, president of the Houston Lawyer Referral Service, and chair of Houston Volunteer Lawyers.
